The sudden announcement by Works Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohammed, to increase toll rates on five major highways - PLUS, Sprint, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Expressway (AKLEH), Sungai Besi Highway and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) - beginning March 1 has received negative responses from both BN and PR MPs.
